Who I Am
Hi, I'm KYYMIDNIGHT — a developer and UI/UX enthusiast based in Indonesia, building for the web with a focus on clean design and practical code.
What excites me most about web development is being able to take an idea from a rough layout sketch all the way to a working, interactive website in the browser. I enjoy paying attention to both sides of the craft: how an interface looks and feels, and how the underlying code is structured.
Rather than presenting myself as a large agency or overstating years of industry tenure, this portfolio is a genuine record of what I have built, how I solve problems, and what I am actively learning.

How curiosity about how websites work grew into a habit of designing and building complete web projects.
Curiosity & Web Fundamentals
I started by experimenting with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—learning how structure, styling, and browser interactions fit together to turn a blank page into something usable.
Discovering UI/UX & Visual Rhythm
As I built more pages, I realized that working code is only half of the experience. Studying typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy made me care deeply about how comfortable an interface is for real people.
Connecting Frontend & Backend in Real Projects
Moving into full-stack workflows with Laravel, PHP, MySQL, and modern frontend stacks like Next.js and TypeScript allowed me to build complete systems—from public catalogs to role-based dashboards.
Combining structured programming logic with visual clarity and interaction design.
Interest in Programming
I enjoy writing structured, readable code—whether building reusable React and Blade components, organizing database relationships in MySQL, or implementing clear server-side validation and moderation rules.
Interest in UI/UX Design
I am drawn to interfaces that feel calm and intentional. I like exploring how font pairings, border contrast, card hierarchy, and subtle motion guide a user's attention without visual clutter.
Translating Design Directly into Code
Instead of treating design and development as separate handoffs, I like iterating directly in the browser with Tailwind CSS and Motion to refine responsiveness and interaction timing.
Solving Practical Everyday Problems
I prefer building features that match how people actually behave—choosing simple, reliable workflows over unnecessary technical complexity.
SiswaMart is my primary featured project—a promotional product catalog built for student entrepreneurship at SMKN 11 Bandung.
Designing Around Real Student Habits
Instead of forcing students through a complicated online payment checkout, designing a Direct-to-WhatsApp ordering flow kept transactions fast and natural for school pickup.
Building Role-Based Workflows
Creating separate workspaces for student sellers (`/penjual`) and school administrators (`/admin`) taught me how to structure permissions, curated NISN onboarding, and two-stage product edit moderation.
Iterating on Visual Identity
Evolving the UI from an early warm orange concept into a balanced slate-blue and warm gold palette helped me practice building a consistent design system across public pages, tables, and forms.
Areas I am currently studying and practicing to sharpen both my frontend engineering and product design skills.
Component Architecture in Next.js & TypeScript
Building fast, SEO-friendly pages with Next.js App Router, clean TypeScript interfaces, and modular UI components.
Purposeful Web Animation
Using Motion and CSS transitions to craft smooth page entrances, scroll reveals, and accessible reduced-motion fallbacks.
Full-Stack API & Mobile Companion Workflows
Exploring how Laravel Sanctum REST APIs can extend a web catalog like SiswaMart to support mobile companion applications.
Guiding principles behind how I approach both personal experiments and practical web projects.
Clarity Over Clutter
Every section and button should have a clear purpose so visitors never have to guess where to look or click next.
Care in the Small Details
Consistent spacing, readable typography, and responsive hover states quietly elevate how a website feels.
Learn by Building
Real growth comes from shipping working projects, observing how people use them, and refining the craft one iteration at a time.
